 Dear Dining Club Member,

We have great pleasure in announcing the Three Salmons Hotel’s first exclusive dining club event.

On Saturday 22nd October 2011 we will be holding our first dinner dance for members of the dining club. The evening will commence from 7pm with the bar open in our recently refurbished Lantern suite with guests needing to be seated by 7.30pm for dinner.

Our award winning chef James Bumpass and his team will be preparing a sumptuous three course dinner followed by tea and coffee with homemade treats, pre orders will be required. The evening concludes with music and dancing with the Elastic Band playing hits from the 50’s up to the present day.

The Circle of friends programme will apply at this event, where we will set aside one table seating 10 guests, (5 couples/parties of 2) for those members unable to raise a party of four. This table will be available on a first come first served basis and allows those members to attend who otherwise could not.

For those of you wishing to join us for this special evening, tables of four guests minimum may be booked at a cost of £21.00 per person from receipt of this letter. Credit card details together with payment and your dining club membership number will be required at the time of reservation.

For those not wishing to drive or to make a weekend of it we will be offering a special rate of £60 B&B based on 2 persons sharing a room.

Dozen Desserts

On Friday 15th October 2010, Dining Club members with a passion for puddings attended our latest event.

For those who can never decide between the home-made apple pie and custard or the sticky toffee  pudding the Glen-Yr-Afon Dining Club came to the rescue with  another one of its legendary desserts evenings that tested even the sweetest tooth.

Back by popular demand we held a four course gourmet  dinner which  included the choice of 12 Autumn puddings.

Were Off To See The Wizard...Wednesday 30th March 2011

Follow the yellow brick road over the rainbow and into The London Palladium, the capital's home of the family musical, with Danielle Hope as Dorothy - winner of BBC TV's Over The Rainbow and Michael Crawford    returning to the West End as the Wizard.

Andrew Lloyd Webber's new production of The Wizard Of Oz is an enchanting adaptation of the all-time   classic, totally reconceived for the stage by his award-winning creative team. Developed from the ever popular MGM screenplay this new production contains all the much loved songs from the Oscar winning movie score, all the favourite characters and iconic moments, plus a few surprises along the way, including new songs by Andrew Lloyd Webber.

Click your heels together and join Scarecrow, Tin Man, Lion, Dorothy and her little dog Toto, as they journey through the magical land of Oz to meet the Wizard and obtain their hearts' desires.

On Wednesday 30th March 2011, the successful members lucky enough to have secured places for this exclusive event will enjoy a most memorable day that only The Glen-Yr-Afon House Hotel can deliver.

9.15 a.m. Depart Glen-Yr-Afon House Hotel.

12.30 p.m. Arrival in London drop off  at The London Palladium  -  Approximately 2 hours retail therapy

2.30 p.m. Matinee performance of  'The Wizard Of Oz' commences.

6.00 p.m. Depart London Palladium and travel to the London Hilton on Park Lane for dinner which includes wine with our compliments.

8.30 p.m. Depart London Hilton and return to Glen-Yr-Afon House Hotel.

Bookings will be taken from 10.00 a.m. on Thursday 2nd December 2010 at a cost of £119.00 per person including all of the above. 

Your Dining Club membership number will be required at the time of  reservation e.g. CLARKES300 - - -  a 50% deposit will be taken from your credit card at the time of booking with the remaining balance taken 2 weeks prior to the trip.
