Housekeeper

We are currently recruiting for a full-time housekeeper

ROLE TITLE : Hotel Housekeeper

Working Days: Full-time (40 hours a week).

Weekend working essential (one weekend in four off)

Previous experience not essential as full training will be given

REPORTS TO:
Head Housekeeper

JOB OBJECTIVE:
Our housekeeping team are responsible for the thorough cleaning of the hotel bedrooms and public areas to ensure excellent standards of cleanliness at all times. As part of the team you will ensure that our high standards of hygiene and tidiness are maintained throughout the hotel and assist in managing the laundry as required.

In this role, you will need to deliver friendly and effective customer service at all times, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all our guests. Ideally you will have hotel experience, but personality and aptitude are more important, as we will provide full training.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate that they can multi task effectively, be enthusiastic and positive in their nature and be physically fit.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Deliver excellent customer service, at all times
2. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in all areas of the hotel.

3. Service all bedrooms, corridors and public areas in line with Hotel policy.

4. Work daily to job lists from the room status list, arrivals and departures list.
5. Maintain the stock levels of relevant products and consumables.
6. Complete all periodical tasks as requested i.e. deep cleaning / spring cleaning.
7. To assist with in-house laundry (towels, napkins, kitchen and guest laundry) including the use of washing machine, dryers and ironing equipment.

8. To be able to cope under pressure in a role that can be physically demanding.

Chef de Partie (Full-time)


We are recruiting for a Full-Time Chef de partie in our busy kitchen.

ROLE TITLE : Chef de partie

Working Days: Full-time (40 hours a week : 2 days off a week, rolling pattern) – long weekend off every 5th week

Salary: £16,500 - £19,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience)

Straight shifts (5 x 8 hour shifts)
Uniform and meals provided
28 holidays per annum (including bank holidays)

 

Essential Requirements

• Applicants must have at least 1-2 years experience minimum NVQ Level 2
• Basic Food Hygiene qualification


Responsibilities
• All aspects of food preparation
• Restaurant and function cooking
• Breakfast
• Cleanliness and tidiness of working area (floors, equipment, tables etc)


Requirement skills
• Complete command of culinary basics
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment
• Active listening skills – implementing the advice offered
• Pay attention to detail and quality
• Team spirit
• Adaptability
• Good time keeping
• Good relationship skills

ROLE TITLE : Chef de partie

Working Days: Part- time (24 hours a week )

Salary: £9,900 - £11,400 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience)

Straight shifts (3 x 8 hour shifts)
Uniform and meals provided
17 holidays per annum (including bank holidays)


Essential Requirements

• Applicants must have at least 1-2 years experience minimum NVQ Level 2
• Basic Food Hygiene qualification
