A small (but perfectly formed) intimate wedding afternoon with a focus on guest experience…
From 9th November 2020, when Wales comes out of the fire-break lockdown, wedding receptions can go ahead indoors with a maximum of 15 people.
This does not include children under the age of 11 so these can be in addition to the 15. Gatherings for the wedding ceremony itself are limited only by the capacity of the building itself. We have our large Ballroom where we can socially distance your guests and safely seat 25 guests for the wedding ceremony.
So many couples have been in contact to see if we can help them to get married safely within current guidelines so here it is!
Our micro wedding package is available for new bookings on remaining dates in 2021 up until the end of November 2021. The Glen Yr Afon House Hotel is a ‘Covid Secure’ wedding venue in the heart of South Wales with guest and staff safety being our main priority .
An intimate, shorter wedding celebration is still possible - with 15 or fewer guests, our Micro Wedding Package is a special offer wedding package giving you and your guests exclusive use of our beautiful Ballroom for the afternoon. We will take care of everything for you - we set up for your wedding ceremony and your reception afterwards including table flowers, chaircovers, menu cards and table plan. You can then stay in our four-poster room for your wedding night and enjoy a hearty Welsh breakfast the following morning.
This special offer includes a three course set menu, chosen from an extensive list of options by yourselves in advance of the day and drinks for your guests post-ceremony, with the meal and a glass of bubbly to toast!.
All Inclusive Micro Wedding Package includes:
We understand couples may be a little nervous about booking a 2021 wedding because of the uncertainty we’re all facing at the moment. If you book a 2021 micro wedding, and Government restrictions change which means it cannot go ahead as planned, we will work with you to postpone to a later date and transfer your deposit to secure the new date.
