Bring in the New Year at this extra special event. Enjoy the glitz and glamour of a luxurious champagne reception. The tables will be decorated with a selection of novelties, crackers and table decorations to get you in the mood to celebrate.
After the lavish Gala dinner put your dancing shoes on and enjoy music from our live entertainment "The Elastic Band". At midnight the celebrations will begin with our cascade of balloons and fireworks on the lawn.
Held in our glittering Ballroom you can be sure that your New Year's Eve will be one to remember!

'I have just returned from spending New Year’s Eve at the Glen-Yr-Afon. I have been to many Hotels over the years and have to say this one is exceptional, no wonder it has just won 2011National Award as the Best Wedding Venue in Wales issued by The National Welsh Wedding Awards. It is difficult to know where to start lavishing the praise. As far as I am concerned the atmosphere, the staff and the food make a hotel and this place has all these in volumes.
The tables were superbly decorated for the occasion – balloons, hats, crackers – all the little things, like a gift for the lady – these little things mean such a lot to make an evening out special. The immaculate staff and the service (thanks Javier) are excellent. To serve 8 courses to 100+ people with such professionalism is truly mind blowing. Not only are you made to feel special, to be there is a special experience.
Then one must not forget the chef and the kitchen brigade – 800 dishes in one night – that takes a large amount of planning and organisation – well done that team!!! The food here is really good – I think I said before why no AA Rosette’s – I just cannot understand why the food here has not been recognised by either the Good Food Guide or the AA.
I could ramble on but wont because that would be boring. The last thing you remember about a Hotel is breakfast – believe me – the breakfast here are exceptional in quality and service. The best praise I can give it is to say I will be returning very soon and cannot wait to be there again!!!
