In all families, companies and schools the retirement of a family member or a colleague is an occasion to be celebrated
To organise a Retirement celebration for a family member or a work colleague can be quite a task for those who are given the responsibility however we are able to help in the planning, preparation and delivery of such an important occasion.
From the initial thoughts about what sort of celebration is appropriate through to the occasion itself, we are on hand to offer assistance, guidance and practical advice at every stage.
We have a selection of venue rooms to choose from - the Library and Clarkes Dining Room for smaller parties and the Ballroom for larger parties with the provision of a private bar facility.
We will arrange colour coordinated floral table centres, for which no extra charge is made and will also include the use of a cake stand and knife, if required, again free of charge. Should you wish to further enhance the look of the room we can consider your requirements in our planning discussions.
We can also assist with your entertainment requirements being able to recommend a variety of bands, roadshow hosts etc - all of whom we are happy to liaise with, on your behalf.
The Function Menu and Buffet menu options are available to view together with an example a la Carte menu however should you wish to discuss alternatives please let us know. Our Head Chef is happy to consider each party's individual requirements and create a 'special' menu when requested, to enhance your retirement celebration.
A selection of arrival drinks, wines and champagnes are also available to offer to guests to enhance a very special occasion.
Should you wish to check availability of dates and venue rooms, discuss your requirements fully or arrange to look around the hotel, please do not hesitate to contact:
'Thanks for organising last nights retirement dinner. Everyone enjoyed the evening. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. The young man who dealt with us on the night was totally professional and a great help'
