A la carte menu

For smaller parties wishing to offer their guests a choice of dishes we have pleasure in being able to offer an a la carte menu

We have pleasure in offering smaller parties, of up to 20 guests, the a la carte menu from which choices can be made on the day/evening of their function.

Should this be the preferred options of parties of between 20 – 40 guests, a reduced a la carte selection can be offered which would be selected by our Head Chef from the current a la carte menu. The reduced selection would allow guests to choose from a choice of 4 starters, 4 main and desserts on the day of the event.

Our a la carte menus change regularly at the discretion of Head Chef.

Starters

  • Home made soup of the day, made daily from the finest local ingredients
  • Smoked chicken and asparagus salad with a poached duck egg yolk
  • Peppered carpaccio with horseradish creme fraiche
  • Pan fried scallop with pea puree and pancetta
  • Smoked trout and crab risotto with rarebit sauce
  • Mackerel with lemon dressing, beansprout and mangetout salad
  • Ham hock and leek terrine, wrapped in Carmarthenshire ham with Cumberland glaze
  • Pan fried Paneer cheese with tandoori sauce, tomato and onion salsa
     

 

Main Courses

  • 10 oz Local Welsh sirloin steak, crispy bacon, shallots and bearnaise sauce
  • Seabass, crayfish tails and mussels with lobster bisque
  • Sardines served with chorizo and a lemon and lime marmalade glaze
  • Rack of lamb with butternut squash puree, sundried tomato and basil jus
  • Fillet steak with Jack Daniels sauce and a mini black pepper Yorkshire pudding
  • Pan fried venison and wild mushroom stroganoff
  • Old spot sausage casserole with cheese and spring onion mash
  • Stuffed chicken thighs with garlic, chilli, lime, coconut and lemongrass cream
  • Pork tenderloin with Panko breadcrumb black pudding and three cheese sauce
